As Election Day approaches, it’s the perfect time to showcase your patriotic spirit, and what better way to do that than with beautifully crafted nails? In this tutorial, we’ll be using the innovative EzFlow TruDIP system to create a stunning star-spangled nail design that will turn heads at the voting booth. Step-by-Step Guide to Creating Patriotic Nails

Step One: Nail Preparation

To start this stunning nail design, you first need to prep the client’s nails. Apply the TruDIP Base to three-quarters of the nail. Next, dip the nail into a dish containing TruDIP in Clear. After brushing off any excess powder, apply the base again on the entire nail and dip it into French White.

Step Two: Adding the Blue Field

The next step is to create the blue field for the flag. Using TruDIP Base, paint a square in the top left corner of the nail at the cuticle area. Dip the nail into a dish containing Boozy Blue to achieve that beautiful blue shade.

Step Three: Painting the Stars

Next, grab your EzFlow Nail Art Detailing Brush. Using the TruDIP Base, carefully paint stars within the blue square and immediately dip into French White powder for a crisp, bright finish. This step is essential for giving your patriotic design that eye-catching detail.

Step Four: Adding Stripes to the Flag

Using the same detailing brush, apply the TruDIP Base to paint flag strips across the exposed French White. Then, dip into a tray containing the shade Roxanne for a vibrant red. For sharper flag stripes, use the TruDIP Base to paint between the red stripes and dip into French White again.

Step Five: Finishing Touches

To seal your beautiful creation, apply the TruDIP Base on the entire nail and immediately dip into a tray with Clear powder. Follow up by applying TruDIP Activate, then file and shape the nail to perfection. Reapply the base and make sure to wipe the nail using EzFlow nail wipes before finishing off with two coats of TruDIP Seal for a glossy shine.
